About the Owners
Refaat Basta
President & Chairman of the board
With more than 30 years of experience in the real estate and construction field as the owner and CEO of Marco Construction, Engineer Basta founded Maran for Hospitality Management to expand in the hospitality field introducing a new concept and higher standards for stays in Egypt. He is also a shareholder in El Alameya Construction that was founded in 2014. He holds a bachelor of Civil Engineering from Ain Shams.
Peter Hanna
Co-founder and Vice President
With huge passion for hospitality management, Engineer Hanna co-founded Maran for Hospitality Management, the owning company of Maran Residence with a vision to grow. He leads all aspects of management and operations for the project. He has over 8 years of experience in the construction and real estate fields. He holds a bachelor of Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo
